Taco Soup - An Easy & Tasty One Pot Recipe

Easy - One Pot - Taco Soup


What You’ll Need:


• 1 lb ground meat

• 1 can chili (or a taco seasoning packet - this adds the flavor)

• 1 can corn

• 1 can black beans

• 1 can blackeyed peas

• 1 can petite diced tomatoes


Directions:


  1. Decide whether you want to cook this in the crock pot (4-ish hours until ready) or saucepan/skillet (20 minutes until ready)


Directions for One Pot Stove Top - Ready in 20 min

1. Brown hamburger in large skillet or saucepan (make sure it is big enough for all ingredients)


2. Once meat is cooked, add all canned ingredients


3. Stir and simmer on low heat for 10-15 min or until beans and corn are heated through.


4. Garnish with cheese, sour cream and/or salsa. Serve with cornbread muffins, english muffin bread, or tortilla chips and ENJOY!!




Directions for Crock Pot - Ready in 4 hours (can sit for 8-10 hours on low)

1. (I recommend lining with a crockpot liner… best $0.50 you’ll ever spend) Add all canned ingredients to the crockpot.


2. When the meat is finished cooking, add to the crockpot and stir all ingredients together.


3. Place on “high” if you want to eat quicker (3-4 hours), low if you want to eat later (8-10 hrs)


4. Garnish with cheese, sour cream and/or salsa. Serve with cornbread muffins, english muffin bread, or tortilla chips and ENJOY!!
